Rider to the Performance Agreement Between ‘The Organiser’ ( ) and
‘The Band’ ( )for an ‘Electric’ Performance.
For ( ). Performance time ( :00 pm) at ( ).
1. The Organiser agrees to provide the following:
2. International Travel:
A. Where The Organiser is providing for International Air Transport to and from
the country shown in the Performance Agreement to which this Rider is appended,
then such air fares to include for necessary excess baggage to pay for instruments
and technical equipment / merchandise plus return (or their equivalent) tickets
for band and crew. The Band’s authorized representative will provide a list
of personnel and points of departure and return to the Organiser.
B. The Organiser is to provide land transport between, to and from;
i. The airport and hotel
ii. The airport and venue
iii. The hotel/accommodation and venue
3. Accommodation and Subsistence
A. The Organiser to provide sufficient suitable single-bed accommodation in a
minimum 4* hotel, each room to have telephone and Internet access plus ‘en-suite’
facilities. The Band will require a rooms for up to (6) male personnel. The duration
of the accommodation requirement is outlined in the Performance Agreement to which
this rider is appended.
B. The Organiser to provide a minimum of breakfast and dinner for the Band and
crew, this latter to be provided at a time to be agreed with The Band’s
authorized representative. If there are any special arrangements (e.g. vegetarian,
non-dairy) then it is incumbent on the Band’s representative to ensure that
The Organiser is informed in advance.
4. Dressing Rooms:
A. The Organiser is to ensure that a dressing room to accommodate the Band and
Crew is made available during the event and that the dressing room has the following
specification:
i. To be clean, well lit and have sufficient power / washing / shower / toilet
facilities to cater for the Band and Crew.
ii. To have tables, chairs and power plus refrigerator and telephone point.
iii. Access to dressing rooms will be secure and restricted to The Band, its Crew,
Authorised Representative and any guests nominated and approved by the Band and
its Authorised Representative. Details of the Band and Crew to be provided to
the Organisers prior to the event.
iv. The Band and Crew will be permitted a ‘guest list’ to a maximum
of 2 persons each. Guests are not allowed backstage and are restricted to the
dressing room area only.
v. The Organiser will be supplied with the following items in the dressing room
before the performance.
1. A supply of clean large (Bath size) white towels (minimum 12)
2. 12 litres of bottled mineral water (non gas) unopened.
3. Large bucket of ice cubes (to be refilled prior to the end of the performance)
4. One bottle of vodka (chilled) preferably ‘Grey Goose’ or ‘Stolynchya’
brands.
5. Dozen fresh limes and squeezer plus sharp knife
6. Pure cane sugar
7. Crushed ice
8. One bottle ‘Jack Daniels’
9. One Bottle good Scotch whiskey (Glenlivet or Glenfiddich)
10. 2 x bottles good red wine
11. 2 x bottles good white wine (Chilled)
12. 24 x cans/bottles of lager type beer – (chilled).
13. 12 x cans/bottles of iced tea.
14. 24 x cans assorted soft drinks (including ‘Diet Coke’ or equivalent)
15. Fresh fruit juices
16. Two plates of mixed ‘Deli’ comprising cheese, turkey & salami
only, (NO ham!) and fresh salad, assorted potato chips and bread rolls and confectionery
items such as ‘Mars Bar’, Snickers etc (all the above to be kept fresh
and refrigerated for after the performance)
17. A platter of sandwiches with no butter or cheese
18. Fresh fruit
19. Assorted herbal teas and natural tea and coffee together with kettle and cups
etc. plus milk and sugar
20. Assorted biscuits
5. The Organisers to ensure that the PA equipment at the venue includes a minimum
of 4 monitor (foldback) channels.
6. Where the Band is providing its own transport the crew will require a parking
area for ( ).
The conditions in this Rider are to be read in conjunction with the Performance
Agreement attached.
